Biography

Rhey Caners is a MSc. student in the Department of Biochemistry & Medical Genetics at the University of Manitoba co-supervised by Dr. Britt Drögemöller and Dr. Kirk McManus. Rhey graduated with a B.Sc. Honours in Biology at the University of Manitoba in 2025. Rhey’s MSc. project focuses on assessing the transcriptional and karyotypic evolution of cells from tubo-ovarian, high-grade serous carcinomas undergoing chromosomal instability.
